As the president of KWP, Ed Sachse leads a team of over 85 commercial real estate agents and property managers in 19 states across the U.S., with 12 million square feet of retail, office, industrial and multifamily assets under management.
He provides strategic guidance and operational supervision of the company’s platform of real estate services which includes property management, commercial brokerage, corporate services, facilities management and lease administration.
Ed is a seasoned and versatile real estate industry veteran, having been involved in over $9 billion of real estate transactions with a list of widely recognized clients across a variety of product types over the last three decades. In addition to executing high profile commercial sales and leases, Ed’s roots in accounting and property management give him an operational perspective on every company assignment.
In 2022, Ed oversaw the acquisition of Alhouse Deaton, a Bay Area property management and brokerage firm with 1.5 million square feet under management and offices in San Francisco and Palo Alto. The transaction is consistent with Kennedy Wilson Property Services’ strategic growth plan to expand its services across the western United States.
Beyond his professional success, Ed has been a longstanding leader in the community. Since 2007, he has been deeply involved with City of Hope (COH), a national leader in advancing cancer research and treatment protocols. As a cancer survivor himself, Ed credits the organization with saving his life. As part of COH’s Los Angeles Real Estate & Construction Industries Council Ed has served as past president and currently serves on the executive committee, raising over $20 million to date in support of COH’s mission.
In 2021, Ed launched a crucial initiative at KWP to promote greater representation of women in the commercial real estate industry. Along with making financial contributions to professional organizations supporting women in CRE, KWP is committed to increasing female representation in its internship program and acting as an educational resource to encourage female participation through mentorship and guest speaking engagements.
Prior to joining KWP, Ed was the founder and president of Sachse Real Estate Company, a full-service real estate firm in Beverly Hills specializing in commercial brokerage and property management. In 2003, Sachse Real Estate ranked in the Top 25 brokerage firms by Los Angeles Business Journal, and in 2010, his company was purchased by Kennedy Wilson (NYSE:KW).
